Day-1: Arrival Delhi
Welcome to Delhi, the capital of India. You will be received
at the airport by our representatives and transferred to your
hotel. Overnight stay at hotel situated in the heart of the
city.
Day-2: Delhi
Delhi is a metropolis with a good amount of both the precious
past and pleasant present. Spend the day with the tour of
Old Delhi and New Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat (Memorial of Mahatma
Gandhi), Jama Masjid (Largest Mosque in India), Red Fort,
Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate and Parliament House.
In the evening, we have for you a special entertainment program
of the Dances of India and then proceed for dinner. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day-3: Delhi » Mukandgarh (260 km / 5hr)
Check out and drive to Mehansar, a beautiful Rajasthan countryside.
Check in at the 18th century AD Mukandgarh Fort known for
the finest wall painting of the region. Dinner and overnight
at the Mukandgarh Fort.
Day-4: Mukandgarh » Bikaner (190 km / 5hr)
Check out after breakfast and proceed for Bikaner. Visit
Mandawa to witness the beauty of the frescoes on the temples,
which is en-route t Bikaner. Check into a heritage hotel built
in the 19th century AD on arrival. Overnight stay at Bikaner.
Day-5: Bikaner
Spend the day by sightseeing in Bikaner. It is a heavily
fortified fort city known for its camel farm and vibrant people.
Visit the Junagarh Fort (1588-1593 AD) and the only camel-breeding
farm in Asia. Do not forget to visit the Gajner Palace built
on the mound of a lake by Maharaja Sir Ganga Singhji of Bikaner.
Overnight stay at Bikaner.
Day-6: Bikaner » Pushkar (265 km in 5hrs)
Check out after breakfast and proceed for Pushkar. It is
small and peaceful town along the bank of the picturesque
Pushkar Lake. Pushkar is famous for its annual Pushkar Fair
and the Kumbha Fair. Check in and relax at the hotel. Enjoy
the half-day sightseeing of the lake, temples, Anasagar and
Akbar's Palace. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day-7: Pushkar » Jaipur (120 km in 2hrs)
After an early breakfast visit Nasiyan (the Red Jain Temple)
and Taragarh Fort (the Star Fort) located near Pushkar. Drive
to Jaipur and check-in at hotel on arrival. Very quickly get
ready to go shopping and then proceed for Choki Dani Village
Complex for a typical Rajasthani sit down dinner. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day-8: Jaipur
After an early breakfast, morning excursion to Amber Fort.
Afternoon is engaged for sightseeing of the jewels of the
Jaipur city » City Palace, Jantar Mantar (Medieval Scientific
Observatory) and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day-9: Jaipur » Agra (241 km / 6hrs)
Drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (the Red Sandstone City).
Visit the palaces, mosque and the Buland Darwaza, (the Largest
Gateway in the World) within Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival at
Agra, check in at hotel. Savor the elegance of the magnificent
Taj Mahal in the setting rays of the sun in the evening. Stay
overnight at the hotel.
Day-10: Agra » Khajuraho (By Air - Departure at
1335hrs and Arrival at 1415hrs)
After an early breakfast visit the Agra Fort and the world
famous Taj Mahal once again. Transfer to airport to catch
a flight to Khajuraho, the ancient temple town famous for
its exquisite stone sculptures carved on the temples. On arrival
transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at
hotel.
Day-11: Khajuraho » Varanasi (By Air - Departure
at 1445 hrs and Arrival at 1525 hrs)
After the breakfast, the entire day is for sightseeing of
all the temples of Khajuraho. In the evening transfer to airport
for flight to Varanasi, the holy city on the banks of the
Ganges. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Late in the evening,
visit Sarnath where Buddha preached his first sermon in 590
BC. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day-12: Varanasi » Kathmandu (By Air - Departure
at 1255 hrs and Arrival at 1405 hrs)
After an early breakfast, enjoy the morning boat ride on
the sacred river Ganges and see the rituals performed by devotees
and priests. Half day is reserved for a guided tour of Varanasi
including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Gyanvapi Mosque, Banaras
Hindu University and other important monuments. Transfer to
airport for flight to Kathmandu, the capital of the Himalayan
Kingdom of Nepal. On arrival check-in and overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day-13: Kathmandu
After the breakfast at hotel, you will visit the Swambhunath
and Patan Durbar Square. Later enjoy shopping and rest of
the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day-14: Kathmandu » Dhulikhel (32km / 1hr)
After breakfast proceed to Dhulikhel, a hill resort nestled
in the laps of the Himalayas. On arrival check in at the resort.
The rest of the day is at leisure when you can visit the markets
and temples. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day-15: Dhulikhel » Kathmandu (32km / 1hr) Kathmandu
» Delhi (By Air » Departure at 1350 hrs and Arrival
at 1510 hrs)
Check out soon after breakfast and proceed to Kathmandu.
Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. On reaching Delhi,
after farewell dinner transfer to international flight for
home.
