Day1: Trivandrum
Arriving at Trivandrum leads us to Kovalam Beach. The presence of hotels is good enough to suit all budgets at Kovalam. The rest of the day is utilized to unwind at the beach. The next part of the day is used for an overnight stay at Kovalam
Day2: Kovalam
After an overnight stay in the hotel at Kovalam one can enjoy an Ayurvedic massage.
Day3: Kollam
A fast drive to Kollam would lead to us to the gateway of Kerala backwaters. The tourists can stay in a backwater resort on the bank of Ashtamudi lake.
Day4: Allepey
A houseboat cruise awaits the tourists while on a trip to Kumarakom, Kerala, South India. The tourist can cruise through the alluring villages and rich and expansive paddy fields. The day is followed up by an overnight stay in Allepey, Kerala, South India.
Day5: Periyar
The jaunt at Kumarakom will take us into the hills of Periyar (Thekkady), which is one of the of the most enthralling wild life sanctuaries in the country. Elephants are very many in the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. The night is spent at Periyar.
Day6: Periyar
Mornings can be spent for boat cruises in the lake to have a tete -a -tete with the wild animals. Afternoons can be utilized to visit spice plantations of the order of cardamom, pepper, tea etc. An overnight stay at Periyar signs off the day.
Day7:
A drive of around 6 hours will lead us to Cochin, Kerala, South India, which is commonly referred to as the commercial capital of Kerala, South India. In the afternoon the tourists can go for an exciting and thrilling boat cruise to visit the nearby Islands. Evening can be spent engrossed in a satisfying performance of Kathakali. The overnight stay is to be done at Cochin.
Day8: Cochin and departure
The last day of Cochin will be spent visiting the historical and scenic locales in Cochin, Kerala, South India. Mornings are initiated with visits to the historic zone of Fort Cochin. Then, the history odyssey will be completed by witnessing the spectacles of the exhilarating Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace with it's well preserved vegetable dye murals. The Jewish Synagogue is another star attraction in Kochi, Kerala, South India, which is still in use today. After lunch is had the people are transferred to the airport or railway station for leaving for their individual destinations.
