Day-1: Mumbai
Welcome to Mumbai, the commercial capital of India. Our representatives will meet you at the airport and transfer you to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-2: Mumbai
After breakfast, excursion to Elephanta Caves, which will take half an hour in a boat ride. Afternoon is busy in half-day sightseeing tour of Mumbai including Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Hanging Gardens and Prince of Wales Museum. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-3: Mumbai - Aurangabad
Check out and transfer to airport for Aurangabad flight. Aurangabad was set up by Aurangzeb in the west central part of Maharashtra. On arrival, check into hotel for overnight stay.
Day-4: Aurangabad - Ajanta Caves
After breakfast, a whole day excursion of Ajanta Caves. Located 99-km away from Aurangabad, Ajanta Caves were carved out from the 2nd century BC to 6th century AD. The exquisite paintings and sculptures of Ajanta are the masterpieces of Buddhist religious art. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-5: Aurangabad - Ellora Caves
After breakfast, an excursion of Ellora Caves located 29 km from Aurangabad. The 34 rock cut caves are date from the 4th to 9th century AD. The reflect the perfect harmony among the three major religions of India, namely, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. The outstanding specimen of Ellora is the Kailash Temple. Evening transfer to railway station to board train for Hyderabad, the City of Pearls and capital of Andhra Pradesh. overnight on board the train.
Day-6: Aurangabad - Hyderabad
On arrival at Hyderabad in the morning, transfer to hotel. Later in the day, visit the Charminar and Salarjung Museum and shop around in the famous bazaars of Hyderabad. Overnight stay at hotel in Hyderabad.
Day-7: Hyderabad - Golconda
After breakfast, visit the Golconda Fort, built around the 13th century AD. Overnight stay at hotel in Hyderabad.
Day-8: Golconda - Chennai
Check out and morning transfer to airport to board a flight for Chennai. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Half-day tour of Chennai, which includes Dakshin Chitra (Heritage Centre). Overnight stay at hotel in Chennai.
Day-9: Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram
After breakfast, a full day tour of Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. Overnight stay at hotel in Chennai.
Day-10: Chennai - Mysore
After breakfast, check out and transfer to railway station for Mysore. Check into hotel for overnight stay in Mysore.
Day-11: Mysore - Belur - Halebid (155 km)
After breakfast, a whole day excursion of Belur and Halebid. Belur is known for the Chennakesava Temple built by the Hoysala rulers. The construction of the temple began in 1116 AD and took 103 years to complete it. The Halebid temple is dedicated to the Lord Shiva and is equally beautiful with carved friezes. Overnight stay at hotel in Mysore.
Day-12: Mysore
After breakfast, tour of Mysore city including the Maharaja Palace, Art Gallery and Chamundi Hill to see Chamundeshwari Temple and Nandi Bull. Overnight stay at hotel in Mysore.
Day-13: Mysore - Hassan
After breakfast, drive to Hassan en-route visiting Sravanbelgola. There is a thousand year old monolithic statue. Overnight stay at hotel in Hassan.
Day-14: Hassan - Bangalore
After breakfast, proceed to Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. Visit Srirangapatna, 15 km from Mysore, famous for the Tippus Dariyadaulat, Gumbaz and the Nimishambha temples. Overnight stay at hotel in Bangalore.
Day-15: Bangalore - Mumbai
After breakfast, half-day sightseeing tour of Bangalore city. Evening transfer to board flight to Mumbai. Transfer to international airport to get flight for onward destination.
